Hannah Vaughn, AIA, NCARB
Founder & Principal Architect

Hannah is an architect and educator. Her process begins with comprehensive observation — of place, of the insights of the users, and of the understanding of the material culture — before proceeding to the moderation of space.

Hannah teaches design studio as adjunct faculty at the University of Utah School of Architecture and regularly serves on design juries. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Utah AIA, participated in the AIA Utah Young Architects Forum, and currently sits as a Trustee for the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (UMOCA). Her work has placed in several design competitions, and won architectural awards, including the AIA Utah Honor Award.

Scott Yribar, AIA, CPHC
Founder & Principal Architect

Scott Yribar is an architect with a passion for how things fit together. Whether it’s a façade composition or a window installation detail, he is interested in how a group of disparate parts can be assembled to make a whole that is at once beautiful and functionally optimal.

With a deep belief that buildings must lessen their impact on the natural environment, Scott is committed to finding solutions to the tension that arises between ‘Architecture’ and energy efficiency.

Scott holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Utah and is a PHIUS Certified Passive House Consultant. His work experience in Switzerland instilled a dedication to quality design and high technical standards. He has completed several projects certified to the Passive House standard, the most stringent energy-efficiency standard in the world.

Ethan Zagorec Marks
Designer

Ethan is a designer currently pursuing his M.Arch at the University of Oregon in Portland. Ethan’s background in graphic design and his relentless creativity are rooted in his curiosity for the surrounding world. Life along the Wasatch Front has given Ethan a deep appreciation of place. Ethan’s current work is focused on the role of materiality in articulating human experience in architecture.
